Gas line work, done by the book

Gas is not a DIY trade, full stop. Every hookup, extension, and repair gets done by a licensed pro with the right permits, and tested before it goes live.
What if I smell gas?
Leave the building first. Don't flip switches, don't use the phone inside, don't try to find the leak yourself. From outside, call your gas utility: that's Cascade Natural Gas at 888-522-1130 for most of the valley, their 24-hour emergency line. If you run on propane or the smell is strong or anyone feels sick, call 911 too. Once the utility has made things safe, a plumber can handle the actual repair on your side of the meter.
What jobs do you cover?
- Appliance hookups: ranges, dryers, fireplaces, outdoor grills, garage heaters
- Line extensions for additions, kitchen remodels, or a new appliance location
- Leak repair on your side of the meter
- New runs for tankless water heaters or standby generators
What does it cost?
A simple hookup or short extension is the cheap end of gas work. Longer runs and repairs get quoted per job, since they're priced by length, access, and how much has to open up. Any quote should include the pressure test, not treat it as an extra.
